To jump or not to jump?

The cliffjumpers, my die hard group of gals who will do anything for a medal are signing up for the Portland Marathon next year. Should I jump and join them? My first (and only) full was almost three years ago and I have been waiting for the chance to give it another shot and try to improve my time. Oh I need to think about this !
